Introduction
The project
Meridian is a fictional dental clinic concept built as a design portfolio piece. The site positions the practice around listening and precision — dentistry that begins with the person, not the procedure — and presents the full patient journey from philosophy to treatments.
Design intention
Why it exists
Exceptional care is built from unhurried conversations, precise diagnostics and treatment plans shaped around the person. The website needed to feel like the practice: quiet, precise, and considered — never clinical in the cold sense.
Visual direction
How it looks,
and why
Warm, quiet clinical imagery — reception, operatory and detail photography — set against deep green and stone tones with editorial serif headlines and generous negative space.

What’s inside
Philosophy chapters
Scroll-driven chapters that open with “Care that sees the whole picture” and set the practice’s point of view before any service is listed.
Treatment collection
A horizontally scrolling collection of four concept categories — preventive, restorative, cosmetic and orthodontic — each with honest, non-promissory copy.
Concept photography
Locally optimised imagery of the practice environment, art-directed to feel warm and precise rather than sterile.
Honest disclaimers
The fictional status of the concept is stated plainly — no treatment outcomes are implied anywhere on the site.
Responsive & accessible
Keyboard-navigable carousels, semantic structure and reduced-motion support throughout.
